THE RESULTS OF GENETIC DIVERSITY RESEARSH OF TEST PLANTATIONS OF EUROPEAN SPRUCE Comparative analysis of polymorphism level for forest plantations raised from seed generation of plus trees has been carried out. The oldest test plantations of Leningrad region (48th planning quarter of Orlinskoe local forest district, Gatchinskoe forest district) were used as research object. Found out comparable phenotypic diversity level of plus trees seed generation stand (per family) and stand, raised from normal trees seed generation, according to the results of biometrical parameters analysis. Derived fact avows that usage of seeds, got form forest-seed establishments, does not inflict decrease of genetic diversity.

NEEDLES STRUCTURE OF SPRUCE REGROWTH UNDER THE FOREST STANDS Morphological heterogeneity of assimilation apparatus between representatives of one species is defined by thereage differences, site conditions etc. But also we can observe the same heterogeneity in the crown of a one single tree. The main reason for this is the inhomogeneity of physiologically active radiation (PAR) and light conditions. A fluctuation in morphological characteristics of spruce regrowth needles (such as needles length and there weight) that growing under the canopy and on the opened areas have approximately the same tendency and variability. It is primly due to the heterogeneity of biotic and abiotic factors in different years. The most meaningful part on this level of researching is finding best methodic approach for analyzing assimilation apparatus of spruce.

Our investigations showed that on the plots 1 and 2 at distances 110140 m between the canals, favourable water regime was provided for pine trees growth; while on the plot 3 to provide favourable water regime there should be either increased the intensity of drying or drainage net should be made more dense with the help of additional drainage canal.

Green spaces perform aesthetic, sanitary and hygienic functions due to urbanization and increasing intensity of traffic. Planted next to the roadway they protect from noise, dust, smoke and aerosoles. Insulation stands of dense hedgerow or a multilane planting of trees and shrubs are created to protect from dust and exhaust fumes reducing the dust concentration to 1012 % and 10 15 % respectively, and carbon dioxide to 812 %. Maximum concentration of dust and gases usually is found in air layers adjacent to the soil. Maximum concentration of dust and gases usually is found in air layers adjacent to the soil. Improvement of the environment in a small city will delay the global disaster, the echoes of which we meet now.
The paper considers amount of dust in the air in different areas of Petrozavodsk. Research was conducted in several stages. Studies showed that amount of dust in Petrozavodsk does not depend nor on distance to Onego lake nor on the height from the soil surface Dust disperse depends on wind directions, buildings architecture and on availability of green space. Dust level in urban public gardens is 45 times less than medium urban rate. Research of two main species of urban green spaces (Tilia platyphyllos and Populus hybrida) showed that their capacity entrapment are comparable, so they should be planted in the city to clean the air. Dust level in Petrozavodsk is quite high. Existing green spaces should be reconstructed and new parks should be created in Petrozavodsk. OF 3/2 POWER RULE AND ITS MODIFICATIONS

In the given article three rules describing relationship between tree stands height, standing volume, diameter and number of stems per ha rules 3/2, Reineke and Hilmy have been considered for the main forest-forming tree species. As an object for research the data on pure and mixed tree stands of Norway spruce and Scots pine in Lisino training and experimental forest and Sosnovsky forest districts were used. On the basis of processing of growth and yield table parameters of the equations Yoda, Reineke and Hilmi were determined and high data approximation accuracy were shown.
